The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the HR Director in an administrative capacity to achieve human resources business objectives effectively.
- Administers health plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations and acts as a liaison between employees and insurance providers
- Resolves benefit related issues to ensure effective administration of plans
- Processes required benefit documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
- Reconciles benefits statements and ensures timely payment
- Assists in the full hiring process of employees: including recruitment via the ATS, performing phone screens, scheduling interviews, verifying work-history and references, and processing background checks
- Coordinates the new hire process including orientation and completion of new hire paperwork
- Coordinates with Occupational Health for pre-employment screenings
- Prepares offer packets and compiles new hire records to meet legal guidelines
- Assists in the coordination of 90-day and annual performance review processes
- Reviews timesheets of all employees and completes payroll entry on a bi-weekly basis
- Responds to employee questions regarding payroll in a timely fashion
- Responsible for the coordination of employee appreciation events
- Assures documentation requirements are met for regulatory bodies and in compliance with local and federal laws
- Collaborates with clinical managers to ensure effective completion of annual education
- Provides administrative support including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry
- Assists the HR Director with policy creation, strategic planning, and other human resource practices
- Assists with additional projects and other duties, as assigned


- Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 1 year experience in an office administrator or human resources capacity, preferably in the health care setting
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint)
- Ability to utilize ATS software
- Familiarity with social media for recruiting purposes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient organization and attention to detail skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
